| Skills by Numbers 5. | HOW TO CORE AN APPLE. | |
| Method: | ||
| 1. | Slice the apple in half from stalk to base. The cut in half again in the same direction. |
|
||
| 2. | In the centre of the slice you can see the pips. They are set in a semicircle of flesh with a green line under it. |
|
||
| 3. | Cut this semicircle out. Your apple is now cored. |
|
||
| 4. | If you have a corer, place it on the top of the apple and drive from the stalk to the base. This will take a chunk out of the centre and your apple is cored. |
