  Skills by Numbers 22. HOW TO COOK COUSCOUS. 
  Method:
    1. Allow 100g of couscous per person.

    2. Put in a bowl, and cover with boiling water, so it is covered and a bit over as well. Add a stock cube or other flavours to this water before putting it with the couscous. Cover well with clingfilm.

    3. Allow it to steam itself. Check to see if you have added enough water and it is cooked. It is ready when soft and aerated.

    4. Season well and add some olive oil or molten butter. To this you can now add further flavourings. I love it with char-grilled vegetables.
